Susan Nasinec Susan came to Wells in March of 1997. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and is a licensed Funeral Director in Minnesota and Iowa. Susan is married to Nathan and they have 3 adult sons. Susan and Nathan purchased Bruss-Heitner Funeral Homes on January 1, 2008. |

Stan and Kathy Bruss Stan and Kathy Bruss owned the funeral home from 1986 -2007. Stan graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1975 with a B.S. Degree in Mortuaury Science. He is licensed in Minnesota and Iowa and is also a licensed insurance agent in MN. Kathy graduated from the Lutheran Deaconess School of Nursing in 1974 and is a licensed RN. Moving to Wells in 1978, they have been an active part of the community and their church. They have 3 grown children. Stan and Kathy recently retired from funeral service. They currently reside in Mankato, MN. |

Erik Buckley Erik joined the staff at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in January of 2008. He and his wife, Larissa, moved to Wells from Owatonna, where Erik served the community as a funeral director for five years. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science. In August of 2012, Erik went back to college to pursue a degree in computers. Currently he works on a part-time basis. |
